This custom wine rack project combined CNC machining, laser cutting, and hand finishing to create a striking architectural feature within a high-end home. Designed to showcase the client’s wine collection as both storage and display, the finished result balances warmth, detail, and precision craftsmanship.

The project involved the manufacture of 252 individual laser-cut brass end plates paired with custom CNC machined brass rods. Maintaining consistency across such a large number of components required extremely accurate machining and careful quality control throughout the fabrication process.

Once manufactured, every assembly was hand polished before undergoing a patina finishing process to achieve the rich aged brass appearance desired by the client. A final beeswax finish was then applied to protect the material while enhancing the natural warmth and character of the brass.

The combination of precision engineering and traditional hand-finishing techniques gave this project a refined and timeless feel, transforming the wine storage into a standout design feature within the home.
